Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Tahfizh Hamalatul Qur'an through the application of the PowerPoint learning model and discussion method. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results from Cycle I indicated that most students did not meet the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), with 55% of students achieving satisfactory learning outcomes. After evaluation and improvements in Cycle II, the application of the PowerPoint model and discussion method successfully improved students' learning outcomes, with 75% of students meeting the KKM. Although the results improved, some students still did not achieve the KKM, and thus, the study is planned to continue into Cycle III to achieve 100% completion. Observational results showed significant improvement in student engagement and researcher activity during the learning process.
