About the Journal

BiCED Proceeding (e-ISSN: 3031-7193) is the official academic publication of The 7th Bukittinggi International Conference on Education (BiCED) 2026, organized by the Faculty of Education and Teaching, State Islamic University Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, Indonesia. The 2026 conference carries the theme “The Future of Integrated Learning: Bridging STEM, Islamic Values, and Global Literacy,” reflecting the growing need for interdisciplinary, value-based, and globally oriented education in the digital era.

This year’s conference highlights a wide range of contemporary educational issues, including Islamic ecotheology and Islamic education, Arabic language education in the era of artificial intelligence and data science, global fluency in the era of generative AI, algorithmic pedagogy, educational data science, cyber-physical systems in learning, mathematical literacy in the era of big data, academic burnout, social anxiety, learning resilience, Islamic pedagogy, and educational technology innovations.

All articles published in this proceeding are selected papers presented at BiCED 2026 and have undergone a structured process of submission, screening, presentation, and editorial review. Manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, clarity, relevance to the conference scope, academic contribution, methodological rigor, and adherence to the proceeding template. This editorial process is intended to ensure that the published papers represent meaningful scholarly contributions to education, Islamic studies, technology-enhanced learning, and global literacy development.

The BiCED Proceeding is managed and published by Rumah Jurnal UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi through standardized editorial workflows, ethical publishing practices, and quality assurance procedures. As an annual academic publication, the proceeding serves as a platform for disseminating research findings, theoretical perspectives, and innovative educational practices presented during the conference. Selected papers may also be recommended for publication in national journals indexed by SINTA, in accordance with the conference and journal publication policies.

To support wider academic dissemination and open scientific communication, BiCED Proceeding adopts an Open Access policy. All published articles are freely available for readers to access, download, cite, and share. Each article is published under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which allows reuse, distribution, and adaptation with proper attribution and the same license distribution.

The 7th BiCED 2026 will be held on September 10th, 2026, at the Auditorium Student Center, State Islamic University Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, Bukittinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia. Authors, researchers, lecturers, teachers, students, practitioners, and policymakers are warmly invited to submit their best scholarly work and contribute to the advancement of integrated, innovative, and globally relevant education.
